Quick Start Guide
You can register before or after downloading the OpenBook software.
You must register to activate the software.
Download zip file to your computer or phone
Install from phone
- Click on zip file to Open
- Click PatronusServer to start install
- Select Yes to Install
- Select Continue
- Click OpenBook to start install
- Select Yes to Install
- Select Continue
- Turn Device Off and then On
- Watch for "PatronusServer Started" message
- Navigate to Installations Directory and Select OpenBook
Before you can activate your software you will need to register to get a Username and Password.
Activate your software
- Select Options>Activate
- Select License Type
- Enter your username and password - If you don't have these register here.
- Select Options>Settings
- Update your Internet Access Point and Secondary Access Point
- Review the Operation Mode and change it to meet your needs
- Enable or Disable Voice Recording
- Turn SMS Notification On or Off
Now that you have reviewed the basic settings add a friend to the WatchList and test the software.

Supported Devices
OpenBook supports Symbian Operating System 9.1 and above.
Download the zip file.
What you need
- A mobile phone which uses Symbian Operating System 9.1 or above
- Internet access from your mobile phone to transfer all collected message data to our secure server via the internet.
